Responsibilities
- Facilitate physician performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures.
- Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
- Maintain quality patient care during the operative procedure and monitor the sterile field.
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and maintaining correct instrument counts.
- Support safe and efficient operative workflows and communicate with the team as needed.
- Adapt to the needs of the procedure and ensure readiness of supplies and equipment throughout.

Requirements
- Ability to scrub and assist during operative procedures
- Knowledge of sterile technique and instrument handling
- Effective communication and teamwork within a surgical environment
- Capacity to work a day shift in a fast-paced operating room setting
- Eligible to participate in a travel assignment in Portland, OR (travel-friendly posture)
