What You Can Expect

As an Asset Management Intern with ENGIE Distributed Solar and Storage, you will support the Asset Management team in driving the technical, contractual, and financial performance of a growing portfolio of solar and battery energy storage assets across the United States. Based in Houston, Texas, you will gain hands on experience working with operational data, performance reporting, and process improvement initiatives that support more than 500 active sites. This role provides exposure to day to day asset operations while contributing to the development of tools, procedures, and insights that improve site performance and support continued growth across the portfolio.

Reporting to the Asset Management Manger your roles and responsibilities include:

  • Support writing of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Deploy contractual risk management internal control
  • Create dashboards to help Asset Managers improve access to data and better analyze site performance
  • Assist with performance reporting and data management

What You’ll Bring

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with Power BI, Salesforce, and SAP or similar systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
  • Collaborative approach to achieving tasks and meeting project milestones

Additional Details

  • This role requires a minimum of three (3) days per week in office; interns may work additional in office days based on their schedule, with flexible scheduling and remote work permitted at the manager’s discretion
  • The internship will run from June 2026 through August 2026 and requires a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week during standard working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday; exact hours are negotiable and will not exceed forty (40) hours per week
  • Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Hourly Range: $22.50 - $32.00 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
