Overview
Travel Surgical Tech in a hospital setting in Lodi, CA. Role: Surgical Tech (Surgical Technologist) supporting the operating room team. Start date: 05/26/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team in preparing procedures in the operating room, establishing and maintaining a sterile field
- Prepare surgical cases by retracting and passing instruments, supplies, and medications to surgeons during procedures
- Perform a variety of technical tasks, including maintaining supplies and equipment for operative cases
- Support intraoperative patient care as part of operating room services, coordinating with the surgical team to promote efficient workflow
- Manage instrument counts, specimen handling, and room turnover between cases
- Communicate clearly with surgeons and circulating staff to facilitate timely, safe procedures

Requirements
- Prior experience as a surgical technologist or in an operating room setting
- Ability to work the listed shift (5x8 days) and meet travel assignment requirements
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and instrument handling
- Ability to assist with intraoperative tasks while following department protocols
- Good communication and teamwork skills to support the surgical team
- Eligible to work in the United States and to meet facility credentialing requirements
