Job Description
Randstad is helping our client find dedicated schedulers to join their high-volume practice supporting 18 physicians. In this role, you will work directly with patients who rely on your expertise, empathy, and unwavering dedication to ensure their healthcare journey is seamless and well-coordinated. salary: $17 - $17.01 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
- Travel between clinics is required
- Managing incoming calls and returning messages
- Scheduling patient appointments and maintaining communication to confirm future appointments
- Documenting patients' medical information, including medical history and health insurance information
- Obtaining prior authorizations for surgeries, medications & advanced imaging
- Performing data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases and maintaining patient files
- Coordinating daily office activities, greeting patients and checking patients in and out for their appointments
- Coordinates and schedules surgeries, follow-up appointments as designated by the physician
- Effectively communicates with patients’, physicians and other staff both within the clinic and at outside facilities providing accurate, timely and responsive information
- Coordinates processes and routes all paperwork as required to meet physician and facility requirements
