Program dates: June 1st, 2026 – End date: August 6th, 2026
Location: Portland Hybrid (up to three days—Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday—per week on-site)
Company laptop will be provided for the duration of the program.
Weekly schedule: 28 hours per week, 9:00am-5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
Pay rate: $17.00/hour
As an HBG Publicity and Marketing intern at Timber, you will have the opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals and gain hands-on professional experience as you own day-to-day tasks, help with special projects, and attend departmental meetings.
The Publicity and Marketing Intern will work with the broader Publicity and Marketing Department to learn skills and fundamentals of creating and implementing book campaigns. The Publicity and Marketing Intern will work with the team on social media content, research for media coverage, pitch material creation, departmental system maintenance, and other departmental projects as needed.
