ABOUT THIS JOB:

We are looking for playful, high-energy staff seeking full-time employment at the Pearland location! You must have a passion for helping kids learn and have fun! You will lead autistic kids in educational activities/games and make sure all safety rules are followed. We Incorporate sensory activities into the lessons (Arts/Crafts/Activities/Games) and record notes after each session. We also take our kids on field trips!

ABOUT SOS:

Success On The Spectrum is a learning center for children with Autism. We assign one "teacher" (known as a behavior technician) per child. We teach the children to talk, pretend play, feed themselves, make friends, etc.

Consistent Pay:

• Full-time hours (40 hours per week)
• Your pay is not affected by client cancellations.

True Work-Life Balance:

• Work in the center Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Within the center, teams will rotate clients every 90 minutes
  • 10 days paid time off (because you deserve it!)

Training and Support:

• SOS will give you hands-on training. BCBAs work within the center and support you in-person.
• SOS has a LMS with robust training content for you to learn the ropes.
• Company paid BLS / CPR certification.
• Company paid QBS Safety Care certification.

Career Growth:

• SOS will pay for you to become a registered behavior technician.
• You’ll get a performance review every 6 months and have the opportunity to be promoted into Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, or a Trainer. As a trainer, you will have first dibs to move up as an Office Manager at newly opening locations.
• SOS will help you become a BCBA! Success On The Spectrum has obtained several national partnerships with universities around the country. If you work for SOS, you will receive discounted college tuition and free practicum supervision!

• Pay: $16/hr to start and then $17-$20/hr once you are registered/certified.
