Title: Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Location: Remote (US-Based)
Duration: 18 Weeks Contract (Potential Extension/Conversion)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support food labeling and regulatory compliance activities for consumer packaged goods products. This role will work closely with Regulatory, Marketing, Legal, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product labels, packaging, and marketing materials comply with FDA/USDA regulations and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Review ingredient statements, nutrition facts panels, and product labels for accuracy and compliance
Support packaging, advertising, and digital claim reviews
Assist with regulatory support for product launches and reformulations
Review ingredient lists and formulations for consistency
Track regulatory updates and support compliance documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in food regulatory affairs, labeling, or compliance
Knowledge of FDA/USDA food labeling regulations
Experience in food, beverage, ingredient, or CPG industry preferred
