Job Description

QA/QC Inspector (CWI) – Semiconductor Hook-Up / High Purity Piping – Taylor, TX

We are a U.S.-based company headquartered in Texas and contracted on a major Samsung semiconductor project. We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector (CWI) to support hook-up construction and high-purity piping quality operations in Taylor, Texas.

- Perform QA/QC inspections for semiconductor process piping systems supporting gases, chemicals, liquids, and solvent lines

- Inspect welding activities and completed welds in accordance with approved procedures, project specifications, and applicable codes

- Review and maintain weld maps, line lists, isometric drawings, redlines, and turnover packages

- Verify material traceability and receiving documents including MTR/MTC records

- Support inspections for orbital welding, tubing systems, and high-purity process piping installations

- Identify nonconforming work, issue punch items/NCRs, and track corrective actions through closure

- Coordinate with field supervisors, subcontractors, safety teams, and client representatives

- Prepare daily and weekly quality reports

- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required

- 3+ years of QA/QC, welding inspection, or piping inspection experience

- Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, high-tech, or industrial piping projects preferred

- Ability to read isometric drawings, P&IDs, and project specifications

- Strong documentation and communication skills

- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

- Must be able to work on-site in Taylor, TX

- Semiconductor fab, cleanroom, or high-purity piping experience

- VT Level II or other NDT certifications

- Experience with orbital welding inspection

- Experience working on Samsung or similar high-tech construction projects

• Position : QA/QC – CWI

• Start Date : April 13, 2026

• Pay Rate : $50.00/hr

• Per Diem : $120.00/day

• Base Schedule : Mon–Fri, 40 hrs/week

• Overtime : Available on weekdays (1.5x rate)

• Weekend Work : Saturday & Sunday available

• Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly – Every other Friday

This role may require working in cleanrooms, confined areas, elevated work areas, and active construction zones. Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on project needs.
