Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company operating as DePuy Synthes. Job Overview
The Manager Analytics & Modeling is responsible for leading advanced analytics and modeling capabilities that enable datadriven decisionmaking across commercial and operational functions. This role develops and applies analytical models forecasts and insights to support strategic planning performance optimization and business growth. The position partners closely with crossfunctional leaders to translate complex data into actionable recommendations making a direct impact on customer experience efficiency and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and application of analytics and modeling solutions to support strategic and operational decisionmaking.
Design and maintain predictive financial or operational models to assess performance risks and opportunities.
Translate complex data sets into clear insights recommendations and executiveready reporting.
Partner with Commercial Finance Operations Customer Service and Digital teams to align analytics with business priorities.
Monitor key performance indicators and trends to inform forecasting planning and optimization efforts.
Lead or support analyticsdriven initiatives that improve efficiency customer experience and financial outcomes.
Ensure data accuracy consistency and adherence to governance and internal control standards.
Coach and develop analysts or project teams contributing to analytics and modeling work.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelors degree in Analytics Business Finance Economics Engineering Data Science or a related field.
Preferred: Masters degree (MBA MS or equivalent) with a quantitative focus.
Experience and Skills
Required:
68 years of progressive experience in analytics modeling business intelligence or related functions.
Demonstrated experience developing analytical models and translating data into business insights.
Strong quantitative analytical and problemsolving skills.
Experience working with large data sets and analytics or reporting tools.
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a fastpaced matrixed environment.
Preferred:
Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices healthcare or life sciences.
Familiarity with forecasting scenario modeling or advanced statistical techniques.
Experience with BI data visualization or advanced analytics platforms.
Experience supporting commercial customer operations or supply chain analytics.
Knowledge of continuous improvement or operational excellence methodologies.

Travel: Up to 20% primarily domestic.
Certifications: Analytics data science or finance certifications (preferred).
