Loan Officer Assistant – Remote (Texas)

Are you a skilled professional with 10-15 years experience in Loan Origination or Loan Officer Assistant roles, particularly in Non-QM loans in Texas? We are seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Loan Officer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in preparing preliminary loan packages for processing, assisting with customer inquiries, coordinating loan closings, and supporting marketing campaigns.

Required Skills:

• Solid knowledge of conventional, government (FHA/VA), and Jumbo loan requirements
• Familiarity with state and federal real estate lending regulations
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• High School diploma or equivalency degree
• Prior experience in mortgage lending or related sales
• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data
• Ability to make informed business decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office software, including 10 key

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience working with appraisers to obtain official appraisals
• Maintaining databases of customer information
• Coordinating and scheduling loan closings
• Assisting with marketing campaigns through various channels
• Performing administrative tasks to support Loan Officers
• Understanding of customer service best practices

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Certification or training related to mortgage lending is a plus
