Job Description

As an Installer, you’ll be the expert responsible for assembling, disassembling, positioning, and setting up furniture, modular office systems, and appliances at client locations. You’ll interpret floor plans, ensure items are delivered and installed safely, and represent our company with professionalism and care.

What You’ll Do

🔧 Installation & Setup

• Assemble, disassemble, and configure modular office furniture, workstations, residential furniture, and case goods.
• Set up client spaces according to blueprints or floor plans.

🚚 Logistics & Handling

• Load and unload items using dollies, ramps, and straps.
• Secure items to prevent damage and ensure safe transport.

🛠 Site Prep & Technical Skills

• Mount shelving, cabinets, and similar items.
• Perform light repairs and organize workspaces for efficient installations.

🤝 Customer Experience

• Communicate clearly with clients and respond to on‑site requests.
• Ensure items are placed and staged exactly as the client envisions.

📝 Documentation

• Complete work tickets, daily inventories, and assist with basic IT disconnect/reconnect tasks.

Requirements

💪 Physical Capability

• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs repeatedly and work in a physically active environment.

🔧 Technical Skills

• Experience using hand tools and power tools for complex assembly tasks.

🧠 Strengths & Abilities

• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and detail orientation.
• A customer‑focused mindset and pride in high‑quality work.

📦 Experience

• Previous experience in furniture installation, moving, or logistics preferred.

🚗 Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
