Job Description:
1. follow, maintain, and regularly update the curriculum documentation for their subjects stored on designated platforms;
2. follow the planning process as outlined by the various programme coordinators to develop quality units that can be easily followed by any teacher, at any time;
3. link resources to support units, including technology and digital tools, to planning and implementation in an easily identifiable manner;
4. teach units with evident Approaches to Teaching and Learning links;
5. collaborate in planning/ team meetings including SSS (Student Support Services) and/or other specialists on a regular basis. Record minutes of meetings and communicate to the various programme coordinators;
6. collaborate in year level teams to develop individualized student development programmes as/ if needed and Interdisciplinary Units of work suited to the needs of students, with minutes of meetings being recorded and communicated to the various programme coordinators;
7. collaborate in curriculum teams to ensure the horizontal, as well as vertical articulation of the curriculum across the school, with minutes of meetings being recorded and communicated to the various programme coordinators;
8. actively seek out current research and professional dialogue to improve the quality of planning and teaching;
9. complete weekly lesson plans in advance and be able to be produce these plans upon request;
10. consult with the various programme coordinators and relevant Department Coordinators in the event that major changes need to be made to unit plans;

Requirements:
1. Must be native English Speaker;
2. Bachelor’s degree or above; Major in Chemistry or Biology is preferred;
3. Related teaching certificates holder;
4. Be familiar with IBDP and inquiry teaching;
5. Patient, easy-going, strong interpersonal, collaborative, organizational skills and teamwork spirit;
6. To be a model of values to students by modeling IB learner profile;
