Job Description

Salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years experience in overseeing installations and vendor management in a Financial Data Center environment.
• Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with providing a service catalog to clients across IT teams using ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of ITIL methodologies, including ServiceNow change, incident, and problem management.
• Understanding of fiber and copper infrastructure within physical data center settings.
• Experience with data center deployments including mainframe, distributed, and network equipment.

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of the physical hardware infrastructure supporting our essential applications across data centers and processing areas.
• Manage the installation of network circuits and hardware platforms ensuring system resiliency, including storage replication, virtualization, orchestration, and network tools.
• Provide consulting for Data Center Operations regarding the physical environment.
• Plan projects, supervise, and technically review work conducted by external consultants, ensuring IT demands are met.
• Participate in technical reviews and assessments of prospective partners and service providers focusing on physical infrastructure expertise.
• Coordinate physical access to data centers and manage vendor escort activities.
• Handle the decommissioning of outdated IT assets and ensure proper hard drive disposal.
• Conduct testing and commissioning for new facilities and key systems.
• Prepare status reports and presentations on project progress.
• Identify and monitor critical paths while managing risks, issues, and client concerns.
• Assist in the execution of spend management and cost evaluations.
• Reduce risks by adhering to established procedures and monitoring controls, while maintaining ethical standards.
